  3.   This control panel allows various system resources such as fonts, sounds, and FKEYs to be kept outside your System file.  Place it in your Control Panels folder (or, under System 6, your System Folder) and open up the control panel to read the online manual.

  6. CarpUnmount

  8. If you have used Carpetbag to open some files on a volume, Finder will normally prevent you from unmounting that volume.  But with this extension installed, you will see a dialog that gives you the option to close the files and proceed to unmount the volume.

  11. Outboard Sound

  13.   This INIT needs to be used to make beep sounds installed with Carpetbag show up in the Sound control panel.

  16. Outboard Keyboard

  18.   This INIT needs to be used if you want to use Carpetbag with custom keyboard layouts under System 7.  It also makes the keyboard menu appear in your menu bar.

  21. Outboard Keyboard (no menu)

  23.   This INIT is the same as Outboard Keyboard, except that it does not make the keyboard menu appear in your menu bar.  You might use this if you use my Keyboard Switcher utility.

  26. Universal suitcase

  28.   Under System 7, the Finder can be used to move fonts, sounds, and keyboard layouts into or out of this empty suitcase file.  Make as many copies as you want.

  31. Laser Path

  33.   This a a System 7 only control panel that allows you to store PostScript fonts (type 1 and type 3) in one folder besides the Extensions folder.  It will probably not be compatible with System 7.1.
